All The Happenings

My little mister is 31 weeks old! He is a busy bee in there and getting a little restless. (Trust me, you should feel him!) I think he is ready to greet the world and dive into my arms. Okay, maybe he isn't exactly ready, but I am.

Before I give an update on all of the miraculous happenings of my love bug, I thought I would preface with another pregger shot. Please enjoy!
As you can so easily see, the poppin' isn't stoppin'! Okay that was corny but totally true. I'm not sure how much give is left in that skin of mine :). I guess we will find out!

Now for the happenings.....
-He should be about 16" long
-a little over 3 lbs (heading into another growth spurt....or plumping up)
-turning his head from side to side (I can vouch for this one. It is pretty wild to feel and watch your belly contort in such a way.)
-and I quote, "Your little one's kicks and somersaults may be keeping you up at night." (CHECK!) but "All this moving is a sign that your baby is active and healthy." (SIGH, okay :D)
-his eyesight is developing right along

Once again, he is reaching many new milestones on this little journey. I am loving every bit of them! I finally reached the point in my pregnancy where I visit the Dr. every 2 weeks now, which I am completely loving. To hear that little guy and know he is doing fantastic is the greatest feeling. This last time I had the midwife push and prod my belly to figure out how he was snuggled up in there. I learned that his heels are my rib cage's new best friends, his head is that bowling ball of a weight I have been feeling and his feet are what is making the side of my tummy dance. A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! I have officially fallen in love with pregnancy <3 Love, LoVe, LOVE it!

Before I come to an end.... I thought that I would finally introduce little man's real name. I know I know, most of you already know but it seems only right to announce it officially--blogger style that is!

xoxox Liam!

A Little Bit of This and That

T-72 days!
or
10 weeks 2 days!

30 weeks close on Sunday!

Whaaaaaat!?! Where has this pregnancy gone? I think my heart just skipped a beat thinking about all I have to do before this little Mr. arrives. Don't worry, the nesting hasn't begun. But come August, when I step foot into my beautiful humble abode, it will be in full force! Hopefully my giant watermelon wont be too in the way. Momma's got to work... no ifs ands or buts!

Speaking of humble abode...Earlier this week I got to take another peek into little man's soon-to-be nursery. It was inspection time at the house! Ideas were bouncing through my head and it was so exciting to think that in a few short weeks I will finally get to create a special place for him. I so can't wait!

On a completely other note, I think I finally figured out what hiccups feel like. I mean.. what hiccups inside your belly feel like. I supposedly should have started to feel them a few weeks back, but for some reason I just couldn't figure them out. This morning as I was typing away for class, watching Regis & Kelly, and babysitting my little Livy, my belly decided to have an earth quake. That's right- it was like the world inside was shaking away. It lasted less than a minute BUT I knew exactly what it was. I considered drinking water upside down to help the little guy out, but let's be honest, I can barely paint my toenails these days.

Well in a couple days I will be sure to post another preggo pic along with the stats. I can't wait to open my book to see what all has happened over the last couple weeks. Soooo exciting :D

To give you a little extra eye candy at the end of this post I thought I would share a pic of me and the little Miss I have been hanging with these days. (Side note: please disregard my face... no make-up means yuck!)

She's pretty cute huh!?!

A Thank You

Up to this point, I have been writing about my daily happenings that have brought many smiles to my face. I have shared the joys of my pregnancy and the milestones I have reached along the way. Now it's time to focus in on the one that brought me to this special place in my life.

I came across this song that truly captures my most inner fire. The fire that lights up my life, brings me peace, and teaches me about a love so deep.

"Yours Forever" by Dara Mclean

Lord you have brought me to this place on my journey of becoming a mommy. I can't begin to express how grateful and blessed I feel. Your grace is so present in my life. Thank you thank you!

I promise with all of my heart that I will embrace this child with all that I am and I will surround him with the greatest love.

**We are 29 weeks close to meeting my sweet angel! I can hardly wait :) **

On the Home Stretch!

As of Sunday, I was officially 28 weeks pregnant and at the start of my journey through the 3rd trimester! Can you see the light at the end of this miraculous tunnel??? I sure can. It is lighting up the world :D

Here is a captured pic of this milestone!I had another appointment on Tuesday where I was once again swept away into pure bliss after hearing that heartbeat. It was nice and strong! My little man has been "growing" right along and seems to be right on target. The midwife confirmed his massive growth spurt as she measured my belly.

I am so excited that I get to hear my little miracle every 2 weeks now. Little man we are getting close!

There has been other BIG news in my world that I am completely stoked about! I finally, finally, FINALLY bought a house. I had been looking and looking, put down 2 offers, which proceeded to fall through, and was beginning to lose hope. BUT THEN-I found the 1. The right one! The wait was worth every second because this house is absolutely perfect. It fits my boys and I to a T! In a few short weeks I will step foot into my new home :) (My heart just officially smiled!)

The first on my to-do list is the nursery. I can't wait to get my hands in their and beautify it in all things baby boy. My creativity juices are flowing and I am already trying to piece together everything I need to create the ultimate oasis for my little man.

Here is what is already in the works........

1. Chalkboard Elephant Decal (CHECK!) I have had my eye on this wall candy and finally got it.

Place this on a suede gray wall..... Love it!

2. Ordered the furniture (crib, dresser and changing station)
3. Picked out the bedding. Notice the elephants... I have a new found love for those four legged friends.
Now I am on the hunt for a glider, which brings me to a question I have yet to find an answer to.....Why oh why do these all have a massive price tag attached to them. I mean woah!

Well I must wrap this up and get going on a little prenatal fitness. I will be sure to keep you updated on any other nursery discoveries, purchases and of course baby love :D

Meet Coop

Okay, I know it has been a year and a half since my last post, but I have been really REALLY busy. I have been a traveling fool, keeping up with my online class (masters degree...here I come!), and have not had a gap in my days to focus for more than 2 seconds. So these last 2 1/2 weeks have literally been swept from under my feet.

BUT... as promised, I will now make a grand introduction for the other little man in my life that has been bringing me smile after smile for the last 4 1/2 yrs.

Meet Coop!

aka Cooper aka Coopster aka Coop-a-Doop aka Coop-a-Loop! Yes he is a man of many names :D

This little ball of fluff is truly my right hand man and I will be the first to admit that I am hugely slightly obsessed! Here's the 411 on this little Mr...

1. Coop L-O-V-E-S to snuggle! He snuggles up with me and little precious whenever he gets a chance! There he is right on the ever-growing belly ;)
2. He loves to kick back and greet me every morning with this.

That face melts your heart...right!

3. He loves his ball, I mean LOVES... and has recently taken on a new hobby that entails him hiding under my bed. Not sure I get that one, but nonetheless it is stinkin' cute!

4. He loves road trips, long walks, scrambled eggs & soft pillows. (no he is not available ;D)
5. Giving kisses is one of his favorites.
6. He has a huge crush on his mom!I could go on for days but I wont do that to you. But just tell me this.....wouldn't you want to come home to this sweet surprise!
He is resting up as much as he can for little man's soon-to-be arrival (wink wink)

So there he is. The short and sweet version. I am not sure what I would do without him! I love him to pieces and can't wait to introduce him to his baby brother! They are so going to be the best buddies :D
